Eagle Ridge Water Department

The Eagle Ridge Water Department services your private water system. This system is  comprised of several components to provide you with clean, reliable water. We have two wells, a water treatment plant, a reservoir, distribution lines, and fire hydrants. Isolated from the public grid, this system is maintained entirely through the dues and payments of Eagle Ridge Homeowners.

Your Water Department is operated by three individuals.

TJ Lurvey, the manager, carries multiple Water Operator certifications and had been servicing water systems for over 20 years. TJ oversees the operations and management of the entire department, including large improvement projects.

Mike Cole, our resident source for all wisdom, has been servicing the ERHOA water system since its first days in the late eighties. Mike also carries multiple water operator certifications and is an invaluable asset to the community.

Kirk Normand is a new addition to the water management team, handling chemical checks and assisting TJ or Mike as needed.

Your water comes from wells next to the river. After pumping out of the ground, the water needs to be treated to remove iron and other impurities, sanitized with chlorine, and stored in the reservoir for distribution.

Your water operators maintain the equipment, distribution lines, and delicate chemical balances necessary to ensure your water is safe, clean, and enjoyable. We use professional-grade monitoring and laboratory equipment to maintain a close watch on the water system, testing  and adjusting chemical feeds to maintain the pH and chemical balances in adherence to rigorous DOH standards.
