You will see your ERHOA water team out in the neighborhood on Saturday, May 10th flushing the water mains, from 9am to 5pm. This critical work ensures that the naturally-occurring mineral sediment in the water lines is flushed out prior to the high-usage season of the summer.
You will see the water team in the neighborhood, activating valves, opening hydrants, and flowing large amounts of water. During the flushing it is not unusual to see a slight discoloration in the water at your home. This is temporary and completely harmless.
If you are concerned about the temporary discoloration of the water, we advise minimizing the water usage in your homes for the day. Should you notice any discoloration, run your outside water taps for a few minutes to clear any remaining sediment (inside fixtures typically have screens on them that any residual mineral content can clog). Additionally, if you intend to launder clothes during flushing, stick to dark colors until the discoloration clears.
We are happy to chat with our neighbors while we work. Feel free to stop by and ask questions.

There are several lots in Eagle Ridge served by a pressure boosting station to ensure adequate water pressure. Your water team needs to service this system to ensure safe, reliable operation.
This service will impact lots 74 through 86. During the service time there will be intermittent water availability up to and including complete system shut-down. Impacted owners will be directly notified as well.
The impacted lots will experience intermittent water outages on Friday, May 9th, from 9-5pm. We expect to have this service completed in a single day.
The EPA has mandated that the ERHOA Water Department perform a Lead Service Line Inventory (LSLI) test in October of 2024. This involves your water system operators digging up the connection between the water meter and your service line to ensure they’re not made of lead.
The good news is that Eagle Ridge has never used lead pipe, and that isn’t changing. We have no known lead piping in the neighborhood.
The bad news is we still had to check per the EPA rules, and we missed the deadline by a couple months. As a result, we have to issue a letter talking about the LSLI and the hazards of lead.
We want to reiterate: Your water is clean, safe, and lead-free. This letter simply states we missed the deadline. You will also find attached the actual test where we demonstrate no lead.
Feel free to call with any questions. Thanks!
